Step 7 — The pain and limitations of self-denial are recognized.

We are getting strong messages to change course when we feel our career, financial situation, relationships with others, and/or our health contribute to feelings of dis-ease, obligation, heaviness and exhaustion.  We try to ignore this, but the inner awakening continues.  Our circumstances may get more and more difficult and the struggle intensifies.
